Sentai or super sentai is born from Japan. Super sentai series is making and build for children and kids for the first objective. But when time is running out and going to year 2000 above, not just kids and child but also adults and teens like to watch it too. What is sentai or super sentai is? The sentai concept is of 5, 7 or 8 warriors who through one way or another can transform into a multi-colored battle squad born to fight an empire or devil that attack the Earth. In 1975 Toei made their first sentai show called Himitsu Sentai Goranger was created by the late Shotaro Ishinomori who creates Kamen Rider and Cyborg 009 in 1975 too.
SUPER SENTAI SERIES
From 1975 until now (2009), there are 33 Super sentai groups. Like in the first, Himitsu Sentai Goranger is the first Super sentai squad battle group and the new Super sentai is Samurai SentaiShinkenger release in March 2009 after Engine Sentai Go-onger. Each Super sentai squad battle groups have their own unique values, motifs, themes and numeral persons (members) in one group. They also have different way in their story line. But at the same times, they have a same objective is to protect human and earth from others unknowns creatures and villains who wants to take over the earth and to make sure human in this earth can live with peace. Super sentai fever have enter whole over the world in all country example like at France, Italy, Philippine, Brazil, United States and also Malaysia about 90s. In 1993, Haim Saban have produce Power Ranger by dubbing from one of super sentai series Kyōryū Sentai Zyurange. They used Americans actors and actress to act in the series in US versions. This trend continued until now. But like everyone’s knows, all sentai fans still prefer original super sentai from Japan too.
SUPER SENTAI COLOURS AND SPIRITS
Member of super sentai squad battle have multi-colored same in all series from first sentai until now like red (the head of group), pink, yellow, blue, green, black, gold, silver and there’s one of super sentai used others like color violet. It is Juken Sentai Gekirenger.
All super sentai have they own spirits themes. They (super sentai) built and born with many types spirits match with the villains who will they battle and destroy it. Most of their spirits is ground from many elements like:
a)Nature (ex: water, wind, ground etc.)
b)Animal (ex: fish, birds, wildlife etc.)
c)Beast (ex: lion, bear, shark etc.)
d)Symbol (ex: Chinese symbols, geometric symbols etc.)
e)Career or occupation (ex: police, medical, fireman etc.)
The main theme that makes a super sentai series is the various mecha that the teams use. What originally denoted a sentai from is super sentai use a giant robot. They will combine or gattai (in Japanese) into big giant robot. Sometimes, they can combine 2 or 3 or 4 robots in one time to be a single hyper giant robot like others super sentai today. All their robots have their own unique weapons and skills to battle with the villains and devils. They used their own powers base their super sentai theme spirits.
The super sentai also had vehicles, which is what designated them originally as sentai.
AFFILIATES AND VALLAINS
Behind heroes must be something’s that make the hero’s willing to work hard and not easy to retreat. Either’s affiliates (friends who support heroes) or villains (who battle with heroes), these two things are important in hero’s story life time. Because, sometimes the affiliates can be villains to heroes and sometimes villains can be friends to heroes.
Japan is the one Asia country who born or create ‘hero’. This all fantasy heroes are creating for children and kids at the beginning. But after years, not only children and kids but adults like to watch them too. Super sentaiUltraman, Tokusatsu hero, Metal hero and more are the example of hero that create and born from Japan, the sunrise country. Kamen rider is the one type of hero that Japan creates. Kamen rider or as know as Mask rider is the early hero create by Japan same as Super sentai, tokusatsumetal hero. (the battle squad group with multi-colored), and
Kamen rider is create for the first series in 1971 with title Kamen Rider and their hero named Takeshi Hongo the college student who wish can fight with the villains called Shocker. After the first Kaman Rider Series has successful, this series being popular for their fans specially. Not just in Japan, but whole country in this world. From 1971 until now (year 2009), the traditions to create new Kamen rider hero are working. Every year also have new Kamen rider will act in television with same objective, to safe and protect world and human being.
KAMEN RIDER SPIRIT AND THEIR THEMES
Kamen rider has made all their fans have crazy fever. Not just kids and child, but for teens and adults too. From the first create until now, there is about 19 Kamen riders are created. Let’s check out the 19 Kamen riders series:
Kamen rider is build based on grasshopper at the beginning. Although the Kamen rider are different in every years, but they still stand in the same unique things. Basically, Kamen rider is change or henshin used belt. But in others Kamen rider series, there are still has few different in their way to change or henshin. Example like they used weapon or put their change attic at their hand like Kamen Rider Drake and Kamen Rider the Bee in Kamen Rider Kabuto. Some of theyused music instruments like Kamen Rider Hibiki. They also used others motif in their change like animals, nature, others insets, symbols and cards transform.
In one series of Kamen rider, there have many type kamen riders that will join the main hero (main kamen rider) to battle with the villains. Now, let’s check out the member of Kamen rider in all series:
Like all heroes all over the world, they have things to help the battle with their villains. This vehicles and weapons are different from others kamen riders to others kamen riders. The vehicles and weapons will upgrade in year to year. From the first Kamen Rider till now, Kamen Rider Decide. But for the important things are, their weapons and vehicles are also based on their motif. Such as used music instruments, animals and symbols. Their weapons also like gun, sword, blade and the same attack their used from the early kamen rider is Rider kick, Riderpunch and Rider hyper kick. Event they have different weapons, but they still have special skills to battle with their enemy. From the special skills make they so special hero. They used motorcycle as their transport. This transport is able with their motif as rider. Known as the hero used motorcycle. But when time is running, they not just have motorcycle as their transport, but they also used others transport like train in Kamen Rider Den-O and others transport but still used motorcycle as the main transport.
COLORS
Well, from the beginning kamen rider have the same color if their henshin or change. Their color is green, based grasshopper. Time is change, same as kamen rider. They color not only in green color, but they also have in others color but not in full.
